There are very few regulated industries within the state of Connecticut. If you that are clearly delineated by either Department of Consumer Protection, perhaps the Department of Agriculture, perhaps the ones that most often call for a license are home improvement contractors or related plumbing, electrical things of that nature, tradesmen, and home inspectors also need a license but for the most part, a typical retails business does not require any special licensing.
